Building on the success of last year’s program, we are excited to announce INSPIRE 2026.
The INSPIRE Massachusetts Youth Leadership Institute (INSPIRE) is a groundbreaking civic engagement institute for high school leaders across Massachusetts. Presented by the Massachusetts Teachers Association, in partnership with Empower Peace, INSPIRE is designed to empower student leaders to advocate for positive change in their schools and communities.
Building on the success of last year’s program, we are excited to announce INSPIRE 2026.
The INSPIRE Massachusetts In 2026, INSPIRE will once again bring together high school students and educators from across Massachusetts at Worcester State University for a full day of learning, connection, and action.
The Institute will feature engaging and informative workshops, an Action Fair connecting students with organizations advancing social change and will conclude with the Zakim Awards presentation, continuing INSPIRE’s tradition of celebrating student leadership and civic engagement. The 2026 program will follow the same successful format as the 2025 Institute.

Following the Institute, student teams will develop and implement action plans in their schools and communities over the months that follow, with guidance and support from the INSPIRE network.
